Fran Fine from the Nanny: Style lookbook

 Happy New Year everyone!!

My time for rotting at home and doing nothing will be coming to an end this weekend and I'll be back to procrastinating real work with this blog! Meanwhile, during my rot time, I have watched almost 4 whole seasons of The Nanny which if you don't know is a 90's sitcom starring the fabulous Fran Drescher.

I'm making a quick post showcasing some of my favorite outfits worn by Fran in the show so far, so here we go (in no particular order)!

Classic two-piece with a turtleneck

I believe this is a little later in the show based on the height of the hair ... a very '70s vibe to it though and I love the headband.

I absolutely LOVE this corset look.

This one might be one of my favorites, its so oddly specific and still so cute.

okayyyy a stewardess look?? with the little beret too!!

A good old-fashioned casual sleep shirt combined with a full face of makeup is essentially the premise of this show, plus she looks good so we'll let it pass.

I would wear this. No questions asked

AHHHHH draped belt and high boots. Incredible look and the hair isn't even too much.

iconic of her to be wearing a full winter fur coat as well as a crop top and booty shorts in my opinion.

This dress is so cute as well. The choker I could live without personally but it doesn't look that horrendous I suppose.

Another great combo of cocktail dress and turtleneck, I feel like I could implement this into my own style.

Ok only a few more, I promise.

So professional and put together compared to most of these and yet nothing is safe from the mini skirt.

Ok, this might be my absolute favorite look of hers just because she looks so gorgeous. Valentine's Day episode with the little black dress and red heart purse that matches the lipstick !! I love it.

Her summer/ vacation outfits are by far the craziest but I really like this one. It's an embroidered top and skirt set that I just think she wears so well.

Ok, last one ya'll.  I love the matching sets that she has, especially with vests or little jackets.

How this woman could afford the outfits she was wearing while making $6 an hour as a nanny is beyond me but honestly what's more baffling is that she doesn't get fired after ruining a Monet and losing an original copy of some Shakespeare. Fran Drescher really never ceases to amaze I suppose, as she wrote, produced, and starred in the show. She also used some of her own famous clothing from red carpets in the show.

To wrap up, Fran Fine was a fashion icon and it's incredible that no one ever made a clothing line based off of her. Goodbye for now until I come up with something else to yap about. See ya!
