Little Women Christmas

 Happy December!!

This year I have a whole apartment to decorate all by myself which is kind of a blessing and a curse. The blessing is that there's nothing I love more than filling every inch of space around me with decor, the curse is that I hate spending money on stuff I'm rarely ever going to use. The obvious solution for me is to make my own decorations which is actually perfectly conducive to my favorite style of Christmas decor: anything that makes it look like Christmas in Greta Gerwig's Little Women from 2019. 

If you haven't seen it, the whole movie is a masterpiece (in my opinion), but the sets are especially gorgeous. Here are a few of my favorite Christmas decorations from the movie that I'm going to try to copy in my apartment!

#1 Dried orange garlands

- i also think im gonna make some out of apples

- the trick is not to burn them to a crisp which i always seem to do no matter what

#2  Fake pine garlands  

#3 paper chains 

- these are actually kind of a hassle to make so its better if you do it while watching tv or something that can occupy your mind

#4 tinsel 

#5 paper stars 

-I'm making mine out of old book pages

#6 Lots of candles 

- very important to be fire safe and not accidentally set fire to an old house full of neighbors

#7 Red ribbons

- I have one big red bow on the top of my little tree but I think I could use a few more.
